Overview

Neem EC is a broad-spectrum biopesticidal formulation based on Azadirachtin the active compound derived from Neem seeds. It is available in various concentrations and forms a stable emulsion with water for easy application.

Neem EC can be safely used on food crops, vegetables, fruits, ornamentals, trees, shrubs, lawns, and nursery plants—in fields, greenhouses, interiorscapes, and home gardens. When used as recommended, it leaves minimal to no residue, ensuring both crop safety and environmental compatibility.

Mode of Action

Azadirachtin works through multiple mechanisms to control insect pests naturally:

• Antifeedant: Prevents insects from feeding by inducing a reaction in their digestive system that stops ingestion.
• Oviposition Deterrent: Inhibits egg-laying and reduces hatchability, effectively lowering pest populations.
• Insect Growth Regulator (IGR): Interferes with the insect’s juvenile hormone, disrupting molting and reproduction while minimizing the risk of resistance development.
